DEVELOPING STORY...
Miss Fortune can confirm that federally-indicted
hedge fund fraudster, Robert Buckhannon, plead guilty last Friday (May 8) to a charge of disturbing the peace.
According to a source at Allegan County's 57th District Court, Buckhannon plead guilty and paid fines and fees totaling $625.00 stemming from a July 26, 2014 incident.
(Interesting, since right after he was indicted by the feds in October, Buckhannon's court-appointed attorney claimed he only had "$300.00 dollars in his bank account".)
Must be that new business Buckhannon started: Clinical Testing Corp!
Miss Fortune is working contacts to determine the exact details Buckhannon's 2014 incident, and will bring them to you as soon as they become available.
I don't know about you, but it seems to your girl Miss Fortune a week in Michigan is a long time to clean up a relatively small charge.
Wonder what else Buckhannon was doing in Michigan...or who?
Why would a guy that is facing 20+ years in prison return to answer to a simple misdemeanor charge? it's not like Allegan County would extradite him so why the urgency? Could this be a dry run ? for something else?
ReplyDeleteI agree, it's very peculiar. And I'm still trying to pry details of the incident from the Allegan County Prosecutor's office.
