WOULD YOU BUY UNLICENSED FERTILIZER FROM A CONVICTED FELON? IF THE ANSWER IS YES, YOU'RE IN LUCK! Robert Buckhannon, Chris Paganes Return To Craigslist!

I'll bet you didn't know that you need a license to sell fertilizer in Michigan? And, except for Alaska and Hawaii, which have no fertilizer laws, Michigan is exactly like 47 other states.

You'd expect the duo behind MicroCann 1260 of Michigan, LLC, Robert Buckhannon and Chris Paganes, to have a Michigan permit to sell their MicroGrow 1260 “microbial inoculant” here in the state, right?

Nah! There is no permit for MicroCann and no record of any application.

But that hasn't put the brakes on these two clowns!

Left: Robert Buckhannon; Right: Chris Paganes
They're back on Craigslist, featuring a Midland, Michigan, location and contact number. The same descriptive copy, the same claims, the same comparison to a respected (and licensed!) brand, Mammoth P.

In addition to lacking a Michigan fertilizer permit, MicroCann 1260 is missing another, and even more important, document: a Safety Data Sheet, formerly known as a Material Safety Data Sheet.

A safety data sheet is an important component of product stewardship, occupational safety and health, and spill-handling procedures.

It identifies the manufacturer of the material (with name, address, phone, and fax number) and usually includes (1) chemical identity, (2) hazardous ingredients, (3) physical and chemical properties, (4) fire and explosion data, (5) reactivity data, (6) health hazards data, (7) exposure limits data, (8) precautions for safe storage and handling, (9) need for protective gear, and (10) spill control, cleanup, and disposal procedures.

The safety data sheet is mandated by the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Buckhannon, who plead guilty August 1, 2107 to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, will be sentenced on October 31, 2017.

According to the sweetheart deal the feds made with the “crooked chiropractor”, Buckhannon could end up serving between 6-12 months in federal prison.

Like they say in the movies, he can do that standing on his head.
